// Bobby De Maria

Four years ago, Bobby De Maria randomly bought a set of turntables from a buddy with little to no knowledge of how they worked, or how to use them. Just two months later, Bobby began showing up at frat houses at Michigan State and offering to DJ their parties. Many of the house’s began using Bobby as their DJ. In November of 2007, about six months after buying his turntables, Bobby went to a club in Lansing, Michigan called Excel and confidently booked his first guest spot.

Upon arriving to his first set, Bobby realized he literally still had no idea how to beat match. After playing about twenty minutes of a choppy, nasty, off beat hip-hop set, a random club go-er approached Bobby with a CD and said, “Try This”. The CD was full of House Music! That night at Excel, Bobby learned to beat match on the spot, and grew familiar with what a mix should sound like. That was the night Bobby found his calling as a DJ, and realized his true passion in life. House Music.

… Since his endeavors in frat houses and his move back to Chicago three years ago, Bobby’s career as a DJ and Producer has reached an all time high…

// Tsunami

Tsunami (Erik Johnson) knew from the first time he heard electronic music, he had found his calling. Introduced to the genre by pioneers such as Prodigy and The Crystal Method, he slowly began to expand his knowledge of this newly discovered sound. When a friend bought a set of turntables, the two began to experiment with them, although they were not at all familiar with the backgrounds of house music or turntablism. Upon getting equipment of his own, Tsunami began to practice religiously, teaching himself how to mix, scratch and become a well-rounded DJ. When the time was right, he slowly began to emerge into the Chicago scene, playing underground gigs, parties, and small shows at local venues. Now an established DJ, Tsunami continues to grow as a performer, and has developed a style that is all his own. After sharing the stage with top national and worldwide talent and playing countless shows at top-notch night clubs all over the United States, 2008-2009 had already been monumental years for Tsunami. With the start of 2010, he has set his eyes and ears on becoming a renowned producer of the music he fell in love with, securing himself a place in the world of dance music for years to come.

// Dirty Funk'n DJ

Dirty, began from an early age inspired by the likes of Bad Boy Bill, Julian "Jumpin" Perez and the Hot Mix 5 in the mid-1980s at the height of the House Music era. He was first exposed to House music in 1985 by a grammar school classmate known as OZ and was instantly hooked. He would constantly study mixes from WBMX and WGCI with Bad Boy Bill, Julian "Jumpin" Perez and the Hot Mix 5. Dirty began to learn how to mix and scratch by ear from what he was hearing from these radio pros. Spinning live was the next course of action.

Dirty has DJ'ed throughout Chicago's club scene for years and is currently resident DJ at 115 Bourbon Street one of the largest venues on the Southside holding over 5,000 people! Enigma, Mullens, Proof and NV Penthouse are a few of his most recent spots in Chicago and he can be heard weekly on several worldwide radio stations and Comcast channel 961.

His old school house experience coupled with his new electro style makes Dirty a highly sought after live performer.

He mixes using digital software as well as Serato vinyl and CD and has been featured on live internet video shows and in Julian "Jumpin'" Perez's Barlife magazine in their August 2011 edition with his partner and dad, Dirty Funk'n DJ. His goal is to be the youngest mix DJ to perform live all over the world before he turns 18!
